I'm Lawrence Kimber, a Master ELECTRICIAN with over 30 years of hands-on electrical experience. I strongly believe that every customer deserves top-notch service and fair pricing for honest work. For me, doing the job right is non-negotiable.

I've always been someone who's prepared for life's unplanned events, and I bring that philosophy into my business. Whether it's making things more functional, better, or safer, these are the principles that guide every job my team and I take on. Speaking of my team—Aaron, Adam, and Gryphon—we're the guys you'll want to call back for your next project. We've built a reputation for being trustworthy and enjoyable to work with.

When you call, you'll speak to a real person, not an answering machine. I believe in putting people first; getting to know you is important to us. Many of my customers have even become good friends over the years.

Balance is essential, not just in work but also in life. When I'm not working, you'll find me tending to my chickens, playing with my fur babies Nova and Tiger, fishing, hunting, practicing martial arts, or "tinkering" with something new. I also have an extensive library of How-To books that would challenge any avid reader.

Community is important to me. I'm actively involved in our local Business Networking International (BNI) chapter. I believe that building relationships is the cornerstone of a successful business. As I always say, "People are our most important asset." You can count on me to bring my helping hand and winning smile to every job.

I was brought up in a family where my dad ran a successful contracting business. I learned first-hand that honesty, effective communication and competency were important values and these became ingrained in me at an early age.

As I lived and worked in a small town, I gained experience and exposure to Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Electrical systems.  This has been so useful in my work today. 

Not only do I take my job seriously and am proud of what I do, I want to exceed my customer’s expectations. Earning your trust, caring for your home, and being respectful are values I bring to work.

In my spare time, I love to explore the outdoors and am still getting familiar with all the great things island life has to offer. At the end of the day, I’m still a small-town guy who loves people, loves to help, and wants to ensure that every customer is satisfied when my job is done. 

I may be the “younger” brother, but Aaron and I work together as a team and love a good challenge. I recently followed my “big” brother to join him on the Island and to follow my dreams of building my career in an area I love.

Being an electrician has its challenges and hurdles, but most importantly, it is very rewarding. With my past experience fighting wildfires, I have developed skills which enable me to to troubleshoot and resolve complex situations. This brings me a lot of satisfaction, and my clients have expressed their appreciation.

In my spare time, I love hiking, biking, exploring new places I’ve never seen, and meeting new people.

Working as an electrician is a great profession. Growing up "off the grid" was different than a lot of other people, but it was a great way to learn things one may not have learned otherwise.

I’m the newest member of the JKL team, and I love to be able to share “outside the box” ideas with our clients and help them in ways others may not be able to.

In my spare time, you can find me on the disc golf course, playing a game I love. This sport has also taken me across the province, where I have met lots of great people.
